ROM InWest connects the region. Our organization currently consists of approximately twenty professionals who are passionate about helping businesses in North Holland with investments, innovation, and further development. The energy transition and the transition to a circular economy are key themes for ROM InWest.

ROM InWest helps bring propositions to market faster. Together with entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, and public sector organizations, we enable new revenue models through innovation and development. We strengthen the ecosystem through business development and invest in projects and propositions from ambitious entrepreneurs.

ROM InWest stimulates technology and innovation and helps them grow through investments. ROM InWest manages two funds for this purpose: the SME Fund with a €60 million target and the Transition Fund with a target capital of €100 million. Together, the funds have a social and a financial objective. The social objective is to support the regional economy on the one hand and the energy transition and transition to a circular economy on the other.
