Prize and announcement of winner
The winner will receive 3 tickets for free entrance to the DxPx Conference 2020 on 17th November 2020.
One winner will be chosen from a random draw of all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. This will take place at the DxPx Conference 2020 in Düsseldorf on 17th November 2020 between 16:00-17:00 in the foyer or a conference room to be announced.
The winner will receive the prize upon presentation of valid ID (for example, national identi-ty card, passport or driver’s license). If the prize cannot be personally handed over at this time, the winner will be promptly notified via email or post to the address provided on the winner’s DxPx cube. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot be re-deemed for cash or other prizes. The Organizer is responsible for any postal costs associated with delivery of the prize to the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation associat-ed with receipt of the prize.
Should the prize not be able to be delivered to the provided address, the winner will forfeit the prize. The Organizer shall then be entitled to select another winner from a random draw in accordance with the described process. If the winner rejects the prize or their DxPx cube is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited and the Organizer shall be entitled to draw another winner.
The Organizer reserves the right at any time to terminate the Prize Draw without prior notice and without providing reasons. This applies in particular to any grounds that would disrupt or prevent the planned Prize Draw process.
In case the event does not take place or takes place at a different time, there is no right to receive a pop up DxPx cube, to carry out the Prize Draw or to distribute a prize.
Limitation of liability
The Organizer shall only be liable for damages caused by it, its legal representatives or agents, either with intent, through gross negligence or culpable violation of fundamental obligations in the context of the Prize Draw (so-called cardinal obligations). Cardinal obligations are those whose fulfillment is essential to achieve the goal of the Prize Draw. In these cases, liability is limited to foreseeable, predictable damage. The Organizer’s liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health, remains unaffected.
For participation in the Prize Draw, supply of personal data is necessary.
The entrant assures that his provided personal data, in particular first name, surname and email and/or postal address, are true and correct.
The Organizer shall collect, process, use and take care of all supplied personal data in strict accordance with statutory data protection legislation. Participants’ personal data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of operating the Prize Draw. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.

The organizer reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Updated versions will be effective when published on the Organizer’s website (https://dxpx-conference.com/).
Should any provision in these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, illegal or unenforceable, either in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The legally permissible provision that most closely fits the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid version shall then apply. The same is applicable should a loophole in these Terms and Conditions exist.
