What is the DxPx Conference and how do I register for it?

The DxPx Conference is the exclusive hub of partnering activity for both young and established diagnostic companies and investors from around the world to gather and discuss strategic opportunities in one-to-one meetings and through company presentations and expert discussions.

You are guided through the registration process via the conference website.

How do I add partnering to my registration?

To add partnering, follow Tool Login after completion of the registration process

Is there a guest fee?

No, the DxPx Conference is a business convention and we do not host additional social events. If you wish to bring your guests to the conference, they would be entitled to receive the same rate as you. We do not have lower or special guest or spouse rates.

Do you have group registration discounts?

No, multiple registration discounts are not offered for the DxPx conference.

Can I register a group?

No, not exactly. Of course, we hope that multiple people from your organization will be able to attend, but each individual must be registered separately due to required demographic questions and payment processing regulations.

How do I sign up for a session or the key note speech?

All sessions are included with registration. You do not need to reserve a seat or sign up. No session requires additional purchase.

How do I pay by check?

Before completion of the registration process, you can indicate that you wish to receive an electronic (.pdf) invoice. Follow the instructions on the invoice to complete the payment by check. Please include a copy of the invoice in your envelope.

How do I pay by wire transfer?

Before completion of the registration process, you will be able to indicate that you wish to receive an electronic (.pdf) invoice. Follow the instructions on the invoice to complete the payment by wire transfer.

How do I cancel a registration? Do I get a refund if I cancel my registration?

If you need to cancel, the request must be made and received in writing via help@dxpx-conference.com.

A cancellation fee of 50% of the respective ticket price will be charged if cancellation is made before November 1st, 2019. No refund is possible for cancellations made later than November 1st, 2019. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible.

Is it okay to make a substitution?

Yes, substitution requests must be emailed to help@dxpx-conference.com by Wednesday, October 21, 2019 and instructions will be sent to the new participant so they may complete their registration. Please make sure to include the name and business email address of the substitute when you contact us.

How do I make a correction or change on my registration?

Corrections to your name or title, etc. should be emailed to help@dxpx-conference.com. Please allow up to 4 business days for a new confirmation to be sent.

Why have I not received a registration confirmation?

All confirmations are HTML (Web) pages at the conclusion of your registration and are printable. Additionally, an email confirmation is sent immediately following completion of online registration. If you have not received confirmation, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

How do I get my registration confirmation resent to me?
How do I register if I am Exhibitor booth personnel?

If you are an exhibitor working in a company booth, your “Key Contact” will register you or provide you with registration instructions. You should ask the local person who is managing your booth how he or she is handling the process.

Startup Pitch FAQs.

Who can apply to present a startup pitch?

Startups or young, micro or small-sized companies within the diagnostics and research tool field are invited to apply for one of the coveted Top 15 pitch slots.

As defined by SilverSky and based on EU guidelines, the company must have less than 20 employees and a turnover or balance sheet total less than € 5 million at time of conference registration. The company should be within 10 years of establishment, working on innovative projects and in search of collaborative partners. The business should demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, with exciting scalable plans to bring new solutions and products to the industry and a sense of ability to expand.

Does a startup need to be registered for the conference in order to present a pitch?

Only the selected Top 15 startups can present a pitch (and mount an Exhibitor booth at their own expense). Yes, startup presenters must be registered for conference and partnering, but, as one of the Top 15 startups, registration is without any charge. If you are not selected as a Top 15 startup, you are still welcome to register and attend the DxPx conference. Please follow the registration process.

How do I apply to present a pitch?

Do I need to register to attend the DxPx Conference before submitting my pitch application?

No! Any Dx startup (as defined above) can apply to submit a pitch without cost. Please follow the Startup Application Pitch process. Startups are also welcome to register for the conference. Please follow the Registration process. For the Top 15 startups selected to present a pitch, registration is without charge.

Are there any additional fees associated with pitch presenting?

No. Although, as one of the best 15 startups, mounting your own Exhibition booth, if desired, is at your own expense.

Why apply to present a pitch?

This is a great way for small, young companies to reach out to a global audience and increase visibility in the Dx world, as well as create more partnering meetings with investors and senior Dx executives. Presenting companies tend to receive more than twice the amount of meeting requests than non-presenting companies and end up scheduling close to twice as many meetings!

Who will attend the pitch presentations?

Presentations are open to all DxPx conference delegates. So this will include senior management of established Dx companies involved in business development and investors.

Where and when will the presentations be held within the conference?

Startup pitch presentations will take place during morning and afternoon sessions in Room Dusseldorf. You will be informed of your selection within the Top 15 startups and the pitch presentation order closer to the conference date.

What is the pitch format?
